Creating Driver Name Stickers for RC Car bodies

In this video I'll walk you through the process of designing and creating driver name stickers. This same process can be used to make any type of sticker and includes a good way to protect it!
You only new two materials for this project:
1. Waterproof laser vinyl (if you have a color laser printer) or waterproof inkjet printable vinyl for inkjets. I prefer to use the matte finish version.
2. Oracal 651 Glossy Permanent Vinyl or some sort of clear glossy vinyl.
Software:
You can download the free open source photo editor GIMP to do any sticker creation, or just use whatever digital photo editor you're comfortable with like Photoshop for example.

Optional: I use a Cricut Explorer to "autocut" the sticker borders using the print and cut feature. This step can be done by hand using a hobby knife or scissors.
My Cricut is loaded with a fine tip blade I'm using the light grip blue mat.
