We spent the rest of the afternoon on the 26th March at this important rural junction station in Tunes, where the line branches off to Lagos. Here I captured on film a few services coming up from the Algarve with CP Class 1200,s and a train being formed up to head to Barreiro with a class 1800, yes 1805 again ! The station has level crossings which have to be monitored by flagging staff. This is really a typical Portuguese Railway Station at it's most interesting and was well worth the visit. I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
