❣️ A huge thank you to my dear friend, Olga, Franco's most dedicated and passionate fan, for helping me locate this rare recording!

ℹ️ This performance is part of a German TV program that aired in 1969 across several German-speaking countries, and even in Hungary. In this program, Franco introduces himself and performs several arias, much like in the Italian program Incontro con Franco Corelli.

Although this isn’t a live performance — Corelli is lip-syncing to an earlier studio recording — these rare video clips are incredibly valuable, as there are very few video recordings of Corelli, and even fewer in color and with such high quality.

🎧 The audio recording was released on the 1961 album "Operatic Arias by Franco Corelli" conducted by Franco Ferraris.
