How to Band Chickens and Quail?
Banding Chickens and Quail can be tough and a little intimidating.
This was our first time, it went... ok. I hope it helps you be more confident in banding your own birds. Banding birds are done for identification purposes. We banded the chicken to make sure we didn’t use her as a broody momma again. We banded the quail to keep track of the age.

We use some small zip ties that came in many colors. They seem to work well if you get them on right! Hahah. Be sure to make them tight enough.
