In this video, I paddle out to a remote island in the Gulf of Mexico, recently affected by Hurricane Ian to capture some long exposure waterscapes. I discuss use of neutral density filters and other equipment needed to apply long shutter speeds (10-20 sec) to create dreamy, minimalistic waterscapes.

Information about filters:
Holders and lens adapter
Lee 100mm filter holder (similar to what I use): https://amzn.to/3ZOWRpW
You'll need to add an adapter ring to the holder to fit your lens. Search "filter holder ____mm (fill in the blank with your lens diameter) to find the correct size adapter. Here is one for a 77mm lens: https://amzn.to/3XLJRQc
100mm neutral density filters:
NiSi 10-stop filter: https://amzn.to/3IXBFYS
NiSi 6-stop filter: https://amzn.to/3XMXNJp
K&F concept 3-stop filter: https://amzn.to/3IYlwlX
Circular or screw on neutral density filters are also an option but keep in mind each one is fitted for a specific lens diameter. A 100mm x 100mm filter with a holder only requires a lens adapter which is less costly than a second circular filter. If you do go with a circular, I recommend sticking with a fixed rather than variable filter for quality.
