Hi everyone, hope you are having having a great week so far. In this trip report video, me and my family went to Seattle, Washington to visit. Despite having to wake up very early (3 AM) in the morning and having to deal with some time change of 3 hours behind, it was fine for me. WA is a great state to visit and I encourage you to visit one day if you haven’t done so already.
Hope you guys are doing well, don’t forget to comment, like, share and subscribe if you haven’t done so already, and that will be much appreciated. I do have a plane spotting video for the trip coming after this so stay tuned! Thanks everyone and enjoy the video and your day! :)
At 4:40 AM, we have arrived at the airport to check in. Moments later we pass through the Pre ✔️ security and then walk over to the gates. I did some plane spotting before the flight (not in this video since it would be a longer trip report, but will be coming up soon). At 6:00 AM, we board the aircraft. It is great to see a new interior of a 737-9MAX. Then I did a tour of the lavatory in the back of the aircraft, it reminds me of a mix of a 787 and a regular 737. While waiting to pushback, the APU apparently turned off and started up again, making the lights flash inside the cabin. At 6:32 AM, we pushed back (7 min early) to the scheduled departure time. The right wing engine started first and then while taxiing, the left wing engine started. The engines blew smoke upon their startups that took forever to reach the combustion stage. At 6:46 AM, we took off from EWR. Wanted to view the elevators in motion since we got a view of the horizontal stabilizer. Then after takeoff, I got to see the view of the NYC skyline on a golden sunrise. Later in the flight, will be such scenic views of the Rocky mountains. While on approach, there are also great sceneries as well, as we fly out the mountainous areas and then to some evergreen trees and then to the industrial areas of Seattle, including the Lumen field, T-Mobile Park, docks and motives of transportation like ships and trains. At 9:26 AM (time zone change to PST), we landed at the airport and the landing wasn’t that bumpy, just a little shaky. At the ground, there are interesting aircraft to see, but that will be featured in the separate spotting video. At 9:30 AM, we arrived at the gate. At 9:42 AM, we were cleared to deplane the 737. After leaving the gate area, we head over to the baggage claim area. On the way down, I spotted 2 unique propeller planes on display hanging on a ceiling. Then we got our bags and then we head out to wait for the rent a car and then made our way to the hotel. At the very end, a fighter jet was on display like a model on a stand (hard to see since the fading of merging clips has occurred).
