One day, as the flowers of early summer festooned the rolling hills of The Peak District, and the rivers babbled their meandering ways through the Goyt and Etherow valleys, I set out upon a mission to honour a beloved lady. This silent journey, save for the chirping of songbirds, the gurgling of impatient streams and the stomping of my feet, I have accompanied with her favourite music - Tchaikovsky waltzes.
