Entitled Cops were Sued for $2 Million After Arrest of Quadriplegic Man

Bodycam footage captures the tense moment when a quadriplegic man in Florida allegedly rammed a deputy with his wheelchair during a heated domestic call in May. Miami-Dade Judge admitted he had “never seen a case like this.”

The man, identified as 32-year-old Bryant Amastha — a YouTuber and recording artist — had called police after a dispute with his mother, attempting to have her placed under the Baker Act. Instead, deputies chose to arrest her. In protest, Amastha allegedly struck an officer with his motorized wheelchair.

He later told reporters the deputies “manhandled him,” but bodycam video paints a different picture. Amastha now faces two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer.
