Only after defeating him I noticed I was on medium load (I think all of my previous fights were light), so I can actually suggest the Talisman of All Crucibles if you are on med load too - I've tried with and without and those extra i-frames help a lot with Gaius rush attack (but light rollers might be ok without it)
