Ingredients
Butter 100gms
Icing sugar (only not powdered) 200gms
I tbspn of cream
1/2 tspn vanilla essence
This is an easy to make butter icing which you can store for a week and you can also keep it just for practising again n again.
So I've taken 100 gms of butter , I've used salted, but u can use unsalted n add a pinch of salt to it . Beat well n then add sifted icing sugar bit by bit. N again beat for 10 mins. Add cream n vanilla essence n beat again. for even better results let it rest in the fridge and beat again.
Add colour n flavours of ur choice
Add 1/2 cup of truffle sauce for an easy chocolate butter icing.
This is great for layering , frosting and piping.
For buttercream roses pls add an extra 50 gms icing sugar .
Homemade icing sugar
Many viewers are asking for the recipe of homemade icing sugar. I do prefer shop bought icing sugar .
So here goes
But you need to really grind the sugar very very finely
Ingredients
Take about 1/2kg sugar ( about 2 cups )
And 2 tablespoons of cornfloure
And grind as fine as possible
Sieve it and discard any big pieces .
Grind again and sieve again .
