Gwaine + Morgana || Never Let Me Go [AU]

Not bad for a couple who only have about 4 scenes together!

Hopefully the storyline makes sense but if not here’s my version:

Gwaine comes to Camelot mid-S2, he and Morgana hit it off and begin an affair until she is taken by Morgause. She returns as a fully fledged villain (no pretending she’s good first) but when she attacks Camelot and comes face to face with Gwaine again, she has second thoughts. Morgause questions Morgana’s loyalty and in an effort to prove herself loyal to her sister, subjects Gwaine to her brutality. Gwaine struggles with reconciling his lingering feelings for Morgana with the fact she is now the enemy. After coming close to death when Morgana captures him, Gwaine realises the woman he loved is truly gone and decides to go after her with Percival to put an end to it all, which results in both his and Morgana’s deaths.

Flash forward to the present ‘Morgana’ is having dreams of an unknown man, whilst ‘Gwaine’ dreams of a mystery woman. One day they run in to each other and recognise the other instantly as the stranger from their dreams. They hit it off and as history repeats itself, they fall in love. Finally given their chance, it’s happy endings all around. Yay!

((Juts so we’re clear I still stand firm on the point that had Gwaine come to Camelot earlier and been given a chance with Morgana, she would not have turned evil - but I needed drama and angst for this video ahaha)

Ridiculously proud of this tbh - even if trying to render it nearly killed me (Vegas was crashing every few minutes). Let me know what you think!
