In this episode I show you in detail how to turn a flat looking RAW file of the quiraing, isle of skye, scotland into an amazing, breathtaking photograph! the picture was taken with a canon 600d (rebel t3i) and a canon 18-55 IS II kit lens and the detail recoverable even from this very basic camera with relatively poor dynamic range is insane!. I will show you all the post processing tips and tricks from highlight slider, shadow slider, split toning all the way to dodge and burning with the adjustment brush so you can turn your image into a beautifully dynamic piece of art.

In this video I'm showing you how to take amazing pictures of lightning and how to edit those pictures into an amazing fine art photograph once you got the shot. As you will learn in this video it is not difficult at all, all you need is a camera with manual exposure settings. A tripod and remote are very very useful but not essential.

!!!!! A thing that i forgot to cover in the video is focusing, so here is how you do it: Set the focusing to manual (there is no way you will be able to use autofocus for this) and focus on the rough distance you expect the lightning to hit, then just leave it alone as long as you don't change your cameras position or the focal length of your lens. Don't worry about not getting the perfect focus, lightning really doesn't have that much texture where you would notice it and if you use a focal length of 80mm or below you will get quite a large depth of field at f11 anyways. !!!!!
