How to design a NodeMCU project board with Altium Designer

In this video, I'm showing you the process of creating a project PCB built around the NodeMCU development board and a Hi-Link HLK-PM01 module so the entire project can be directly powered from the mains.

The final board has 3 sockets for I2C devices, 3 for SPI devices, 2 sockets for relays, a DHT22 socket, and an analog input socket as well as 2 serial sockets.

You can check out the entire process starting from getting the needed components and their footprints all the way to ordering the PCBs from a manufacturer and the entire process in between where I make design decisions.

The plan for the final PCB is to be a versatile base for a lot of different projects where a lot of sensors can be attached without too much hustle.
