Comedian Russell Brand charged with new rape and sexual assault offences

Comedian Russell Brand is facing two further charges, one of rape and one of sexual assault the Metropolitan Police has said.
The charges relate to alleged offences against two women in 2009 and are separate to the charges to which Brand pleaded not guilty in April.
