Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5DX+ Arcade

In story mode is to race against these characters and defeat them. In addition, one of the features of this game is "Tuning (Step-Up)." Being able to tune your car (step-up) is a feature of Story Mode.

Acquire Tuning Points by winning against the original comic characters in the Story Mode. Perform Tuning when you've filled up your point bar.

There are two types of tuning: 1: Power, which increases the car's maximum speed and its ability to accelerate. 2: Handling, which increases the car's ability to turn corners. You can create your own unique car with its unique performance style.

Tuning performed after the 21st episode will allow you to alter the tune bar that is acquired after that episode before the race in each game mode. Players will be able to test out the car's performance and will be able to test out their setting.

In Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, players can get a "Level" corresponding to their progress and a "Title" corresponding to their gaming style.Your "Level" and "Title" will be displayed onscreen during the game.
Your level rises, one step at a time, when you satisfy certain conditions during the game.
Title

You gain a new title when you satisfy certain conditions. You can overwrite your old title with a new one (the old title disappears and the new one becomes yours). Or you can also decide not to overwrite (you keep the old title). Whether you keep on overwriting the titles in succession or whether you keep your favorite title is up to you.

These several car are exclusive for Japanese version of MT5DX+ and not included in International edition of 5DX+. 2 of 6 car were later featured in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 as Terminal scratch while 4 other cars were later featured as Navi Scratch app for Asian release of 6RR. Mini Cooper is only car never released for International version of 5DX+ since then.

4 new song by Yuzo Koshiro, now totalled 16 song with 12 from 5/5DX. making WMMT5/5DX/5DX+ and WMMT4 BGM are now separated unlike combined of 4 and 5/5DX song in previous version.
