Why I Became 'The Bot Hunter' on Hardcore - Blizzard Failed Us!

For 20 years, I’ve played World of Warcraft and accepted bots as an unfortunate part of the game. They never really affected my experience—until five weeks ago.

During my Hardcore journey, while trying to obtain The Pacifier from the rare mob Lo'grosh in Alterac Mountains, I came across two bots disrupting my experience. I reported them daily for 12 days and rallied others in the area to report them too. But nothing happened. Blizzard’s ‘Report System’ failed, and on day 13, I’d had enough.

I realized I didn’t need to wait for Blizzard to step in—I could take action myself. And that’s how I became the Bot Hunter.

In the past five weeks, I’ve killed over 300 bots. Some say it doesn’t matter, but I believe otherwise. Taking action, no matter how small, is infinitely better than doing nothing.
