Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel and originally created for Ludum Dare 47 by ninjamuffin99, Kawai Sprite, PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. Currently developed by The Funkin Crew, the game can be played on Newgrounds or downloaded for free on itch.io.

Dead Air is an experimental Friday Night Funkin' mod based around various horror media. In the demo, the mod focuses on both "THE YELLOW BOILED ONE" and ChezzKids Archive, with 8 more songs expected to come in V1.

THE BOILED ONE PHENOMENON is a short analog-horror video released in 2024 by creator Doctor Nowhere that presents the eerie tale of a figure known as The Boiled One (alias “PHEN-228”) whose image allegedly hijacked a children’s nature documentary broadcast in Pennsylvania on August 13, 2003. Viewers are shown disturbing visuals and instructed to take specific safety measures—such as wearing earplugs and keeping a Bible open to Psalm 91—to guard against the entity’s cognitohazardous effects, including paralysis or locked-in syndrome. The piece blends found-footage style, faux documentary elements, and hidden clues to craft a mythos that feels plausibly real while being a work of creative fiction. that but YELLOW.
