Float or Feeder in Deep Water
Day 3 of our stay in Godmanchester. Another practice day on Sewells lake and an opportunity to try the waggler as so many bites were missed when I fished with the feeder on Day 1. My brother WIll and our friend Gaius stick to feeder which makes an interesting comparison. Using the float reveals that there is a substantial undertow at play, which presents extra difficulties when fishing the waggler and could make all the difference on match day.
