With the June 2023 release of NX (NX 2306) we added a couple of key refinements to the NX Assembly Mass Properties tools. The bigger one is some nice new control over the decimal precision for all output formats (the information window, Excel report exports, XML output, etc.) To keep things simple here, we piggybacked on an existing Customer Default for this. The first part of the video goes through this in detail. In the second half I'll introduce the history of the Center of Mass (WCS) -- or the Center of Mass as measured from the frame of reference of the Work Coordinate System. (Yeah, we're finally there... Honestly, how have we lived without this for so long?) I hope you find these useful!
