5/18/15 - From Chino Valley, we took the former United Verde & Pacific Railroad bed east to the Jerome-Perkinsville Road. The trail gets narrow and very rocky in places so you'll need a high clearance vehicle. 4-wheel drive helps too. Overall, a very scenic and historic route through some desolate parts of Arizona. We did have to stop once to let helicopters training in the area to pass over the trail!
