This is an actual-play, Daggerheart campaign where 5 adventurers set out into the icy northern regions of Afari. Tonight, we continue this story and dive into the world of Vesper. The party is on the Afari continent deep in the northern regions. A massive gash or rift more than a mile across is expanding and swallowing towns whole. The party has made its way down into this mile plus deep chasm and discovered some seriously disturbing events unfolding.

In our last episode, the party was racing to find the Heartforge, a location deep within the Emberclad Bastion where they've been told the Blightfather has taken Croia's mother. They are trying to save her. Tonight.... will they find him? If so, what happens next? Will Croia offer herself to the Blightfather to save her mother? Will her request of Raquig for help be answered?
So many things that need answering.

This adventure will have higher stakes for our players. While our GM, Todd, does have an endpoint for this chapter in mind, we do not know when that will be. We do know however, that the characters we develop tonight will be around for more than this first leg. Make sure to watch and get to know them.
