In this video we visit cumbria for the first appearance of western champion in many years! We manage to catch the railtour blasting through Penrith along with other action including high speed Intermodels and some aggregate services along with a colas rail class 56 on wagon moves
The railtour called the western mountaineer worked from Birmingham to Carlisle via the WCML then back via the settle and carlisle line.
Western champion hauled the railtour around these lines with the rare appearance of 37240 on the back
