Here's how to create a custom email template with Document Generation in SAP SuccessFactors:
1. Create a Document Generation Group:
• Go to Document Generation - Manage Document Template.
• Under Create New, select Document Generation Group.
• Give your group a descriptive name that reflects its purpose (e.g., "Maternity Leave Approval Notifications").
• Choose the Category as Workflow.
• Set an optional Country if the template is specific to a particular location.
• Select the Language for the email content.
• Save the group.
2. Create a Document Generation Template:
• In Document Generation - Manage Document Template, choose Create New and select Document Generation Template.
• Provide a clear name and description for the template.
• Set the Category to Workflow.
• Choose the same Document Group you created in step 1.
• Define the Email Subject: You can include dynamic content using double square brackets [[ ]]. For example, [[Employee Name]] Leave Request Status.
• Craft the Email Body: Use plain text and include dynamic content using double square brackets to pull information from SAP SuccessFactors data fields.
