Dublin Winter Lights 2025 - A Christmas Walk in the City! 🇮🇪

Welcome to our Dublin Winter Lights 2025 Highlights! 🇮🇪 In this video we're taking a magical Christmas walk through the city to see the spectacular light installations. If you're looking for free things to do in Dublin this Christmas, or planning a festive city break, this video is your ultimate guide!

The Dublin Winter Lights festival has transformed the city with 25 stunning locations. We started our walk at the GPO on O'Connell Street, which features incredible digital projections from 8 international artists centered around this year's moving Liberation theme.

Next, we headed to Temple Bar Square to see the playful new Xs & Os light sculpture, a giant version of the classic game. We then walked to Dublin Castle to see Flux, a mesmerizing kinetic light show by the artist collective SCALE in the upper courtyard, plus beautiful video mapping in the lower yard.

One of the highlights was the ticketed experience at Merrion Square Park. This year features a Giant Immersive Kaleidoscope and stunning walk-through light installations that are perfect for families. Finally, we finished our evening in the Docklands to see the Céad installation at George's Dock, where 100 powerful beams of light illuminate the night sky.

We really enjoyed our Christmas walk in Dublin. The city looks magical!
