Hello!
This video was recorded on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at 2:05pm. I already ate my lunch and decided to spend some time away from staring at my computer. I turned on my scanners and heard a train building their train and was about to depart. Parked on a public street and waited for about 30 minutes for the train to depart east to Detroit.
L303-06 @ 13:37 Grand Rapids mark up with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #3032 + #7009 + 1(?) & 101 cars (73 loads + 28 empties) @ 9,854 tons & 6,171 feet long. Ready to depart & has work for Lansing – destination is Detroit. Will have to review the scanner archives regarding a possible 3rd engine (a lot of static).
L303-06 @ 14:05 EB Godfrey Ave mp CG0.99 with CSX engines 3032, 7009 (elephant style), 6584 (faces west and 4-axle unit) and 101 cars. He has 25 loaded coil cars without the lids.
