In this latest episode of my second Bongabon adventure, I'm excited to showcase the stunning beauty of this charming town in Nueva Ecija. Despite some frustration with the heavy rain that occurred the day before—causing the Labi River to lose its usual crystal-clear appearance and damaging amenities like the diving board and wooden bridge—I still see the town's remarkable charm shining through.

I'm particularly thrilled to highlight the fantastic spot we discovered in Barangay Labi, right near the border of Aurora province. The natural landscape here is simply breathtaking, featuring beautiful villas, cozy cabins, and inviting glamping kubos. The swimming pools are delightful, and the small batis on the property adds a touch of magic to the experience.

The hospitality from the owner and the caretaker truly impressed me; they went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The place is impeccably clean and incredibly affordable, especially with the added bonus of a free breakfast.

You will absolutely love the relaxing vibes and serene atmosphere of this place. I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the peaceful roads leading to the Aurora province marker. It's a perfect opportunity to soak in the fresh air, enjoy the sounds of nature, take in the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra Madre mountains, and embrace the warm spirit of the locals.

I’m genuinely passionate about this place, and given the chance, I would return in a heartbeat.
