Welcome to Season 7 of The Fan Showdown!

This season, we’re pushing the competition further than ever before. Every fan you see is designed and submitted by viewers of the channel, taking their ideas from concept to CAD to real-world testing right here in the shop. What started as a simple fan-disc redesign challenge has grown into a full engineering showdown powered entirely by the community.

And this year, we’re changing the rules in a big way:

🔧 New for Season 7

• Up to TWO Noctua A12x25 fans per submission
Creators can now combine, stack, nest, or otherwise engineer their cooling designs using two of the best fans ever made. Push–pull setups, hybrid designs, multi-stage concepts—anything goes as long as it’s powered by two A12x25s.

• Cooling a real CPU
No more simple airflow or pressure-only testing. Every fan has to cool a live CPU under a controlled workload, giving us a real performance score that reflects actual PC use.

• Noise now affects the final score
We’re measuring dBA levels for every entry. Quiet matters. A great fan needs more than power—it needs control.

• Design freedom is bigger than ever
Subscribers can submit traditional fans, blowers, multi-stage systems, experimental concepts, or anything they can imagine. If it can be 3D printed and mounted, it can compete.
