In this video, we cook a delicious Persian spring specialty: Khoresht-e Chaghaleh Badam (green almond stew) right in our garden, surrounded by blooming nature.
We handpicked the fresh herbs and green almonds ourselves from the garden. The stew is flavored with fresh garlic leaves we planted at the back of the garden, adding a seasonal aroma to the dish.
And while we were cooking… a wild fox visited us again, wandering curiously nearby!
This stew is a true celebration of spring in North Khorasan, Iran — simple, earthy, and full of flavor.
