Bert strums!! A Bert original, this song originally appeared on his 1975 album Santa Barbara Honeymoon, with a rock arrangement. By the time of this performance he'd written a new bridge for the song.
The video is an excerpt from the Danish TV film "A Man and His Songs", and includes the short interview clip which followed the performance. This performance of Blackwaterside • Bert Jansch - Blackwaterside 1975 followed the interview, and these were the only two tracks included from the concert. Other clips from the film are featured elsewhere on this channel.
