Seven Minutes of Hell | Throttle Breaks Mid-Race!

This is a "raw" recording of last nights race. With 7 minutes to go, running P3, the unimaginable happens, the spring in my accelerator snaps, leaving me with only two options; admit defeat and take a DNF, or try to salvage my race. Choosing the later, I painstakingly took to driving with my toes beneath my accelerator pedal in order to LIFT in braking zones and managing my speed through corners. To add further insult, a fragment of the spring became lodged beneath the pedal arm, meaning on straights I couldn't even get 100% power. With all that, I managed to hold on through the final three laps to finish P5.
