在乘坐了全港最短循環線71B後,便是時候乘坐另一路線離開富亨。顯然地,71B旁邊的71A便是唯一的選擇,同時下班71B更是10.6米短豬ASV96,便立即準備上車。
九巴71A線來往富亨邨和大埔墟站,與71B同樣為富亨邨居民提供接駁至其他對外交通網絡的服務。沒有71B般的特別待遇,路線沿正常收費表定價,令只有2.5公里行車里數、約14分鐘的車程收$4.3,比同區的港鐵K巴還要貴$0.3。派車亦主要以12米舊直ATE為主,服務質素尚可。
乘坐的是九巴ASV96 LS4702。繼去年乘坐樣版歐二ASV50後便再沒乘坐過,掛牌車型ATE等班次可以放棄了。下層加配動態路線資訊屏,而且乘客均普遍選擇坐下層,上車時便已感覺一份壓迫感,我亦不好意思拍攝下層的相片了。上層拆除電視後景觀更為開揚,B10TL配亞記車身的冷氣聲才是真正的童年回憶。雖然這些短豬的舞台應在彎急路斜的山系路線,但在歐六E6M全面進場下亦無奈地改行市區短途線。全程大直路的表現尚可,最終需12分鐘到達大埔墟站,看着它駛離落客站的身影,我不禁再次勾起ASV50行走264R的回憶......
After riding AVW24 LL3578 on 71B, a short circular trip to Tai Po Central, it was time to take another bus leaving Fu Heng. The obvious and wise choice has to be KMB 71A next to 71B. Luckily, the upcoming departure was another belated bus model, Volvo B10TL with ALX500 body. What a joyful day to ride old buses!
KMB 71A runs between Tai Po(Fu Heng) to Tai Po Market Station, which is a similar route to 71B for transitting Fu Heng residents to other transport networks. Clearly, 71A is for people to take mtr at Tai Po Market Station, the bus fare is HKD 4.3 which is much more reasonable than 71B charging HKD2.2. Although it is more expensive than mtr K lines in Tai Po (HKD4.0), Fu Heng residents have no choice but to accept this fare going home.
The bus I rode was KMB ASV96 LS4702, which was better than riding an Enviro500 scheduled to the route. The addition of a dynamic route LED display at the lower deck blocks the view further, and I couldn't photo much at the lower deck as most passengers generally chose to sit at. When getting on the bus, I already felt pressurized, so filming at the upper deck was the right decision. After removing the TV there are more sceneries to enjoy, and the air-conditioning sound of the B10TL with ALX500 body is the real childhood memory. Although these short Volvo B10TLs should be on the steep mountain route, they had no choice but to diverted to the urban short-distance line under the full deployment of the Euro 6 E6M. The performance along the journey was acceptable, and it finally took 12 minutes to reach the Tai Po Market Station. Watching it leave the alight stop, I can’t help but once again bringing back memories of ASV50 walking 264R in last October...
