Los Gigantes, Tenerife

Los Gigantes is a stunning resort town on the west coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. It is known for it's dramatic high volcanic cliffs which are about 500m to 800m high. It is also renowned as an excellent spot for whale and dolphin watching.

2 days after filming this video 4 people tragically lost their lives (and as of writing this, one person is still missing) when they were dragged into the sea by the powerful waves, from the saltwater pools, featured in this video. My condolences to them and their families.
