How to Find the Time to (Hand) Sew

Historical fashion can be an especially time-consuming hobby, especially if you're choosing to hand sew it. Yet, the slow-paced nature of historical sewing is part of its charm. I am by no means a master of time management and I do my fair share of procrastinating, just like everybody else. But I've managed to find little ways to keep myself more focused and increase my patience whilst hand sewing (and throughout life in general). These mindset shifts have helped me get to a place where I'm sewing around 25 hours a week on average, which allows me to have a regular outlet for my creative expression.

This video is not your typical list or tips content. I wanted to instead share my own experience in a way that is more relatable because most of us share in the experience of finding ways to make more time for historical sewing or any craft completed with one's hands.
