Scenic Drive to Himalayas | Rohtang Pass Drive from Manali in 4K

This video was shot in the month of November (Pre-Winter) on the way to scenic Koksar village from Manali town Via Rohtang Pass.

Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern end of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali town. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India

Rohtang Pass remains closed for 6 months during winter months due to heavy snow fall and avalanches.

In the year 2020 Atal Tunnel was opened, giving easy access to Lahaul and Spiti valley. Thus, reducing dependancy on Rohtang Pass which remained closed for 6 months every year.

Work on Atal Tunnel had started in the year 2010.
