I went to all the places I grew up in Blackshear Ga to record this video. I was born in Fla but was raised in the trailer parks and projects of good ole P.C.😁 My dad left when I was 2 and my mama raised me and my 2 sisters by herself mainly, with a few "stepdad" aka leeches in and out of our life that caused WAY more harm than good, and because of this we were very poor. I've seen my mama struggle and go to bed hungry jus to make sure we ate something, be used and abused ,and stay with men that hurt her jus to make sure we had a place to live cus if not we would have been on the street or worse. We also moved around ALOT so no where ever felt like "HOME". I don't care about being rich or famous i jus wanna make music and be able to take care of my whole family and even tho i aint there yet im close...so close... i WILL buy you a HOUSE oneday Mama 🤞this song is for every Poor Kid like me that has a dream...
