I watched Harlots in 2 days and I fell in love with it. This show is a gem, it has an amazing female cast, it's written and directed by women and it is a show about women. Revenge, love, power and freedom are the main themes and the characters are all well written and nuanced. It's set in 18th century London, and who isn't fascinated by the Georgian era? It's a show that will make you cry, scream and maybe laugh. Its second season ended yesterday and I hope it gets renewed for a third season because shows like this one are truly rare.

I don't really know what to write because I'm not fully recovered from the finale. I just wanna say that Charlotte Wells is a character that I will forever carry in my heart. With just two seasons and 16 episodes in total this show managed to make me care about her so deeply it's unbelievable. JBF is a gift to this world her performance is absolutely fantastic.
