A note from the performers:
Six years ago we met when we were cast as Jesus and Mary in the 50th Anniversary tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. When the global pandemic halted live performances for over a year, the entertainment industry was forever changed and so were we. It was a watershed moment that highlighted the importance of connection and the true impact that live, in-person, and heartfelt musical experiences have on our lives.

When the tour came to an end in 2022, Aaron approached Jenna about creating a show together. While creating this show, we found ourselves drawn to the music that makes us feel. Radio Recall is a celebration of that. It’s the soundtrack of your life packed into one performance. We hope this experience reminds you of the first time you heard a song on the radio, bought an album, or attended a concert. We invite you to sing along, dance in your seat, and feel the music that reminds us of what it’s like to be alive.

AARON LAVIGNE grew up in Cincinnati, OH where his love of music started since before he could speak. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Motown Artists taught him the language of music while inspiring him to sing, pick up multiple instruments, and write songs. Aaron has performed on Broadway (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark), Off-Broadway (RENT), Broadway Tours (Jesus Christ Superstar, RENT), with symphonies, in lower east side rock clubs, on the high seas, & in concert halls across multiple continents. He recorded & released two original studio albums in Brooklyn & Cincinnati. Aaron performed the iconic role of Jesus in the Olivier Award winning 50th Anniversary revival tour of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. It was a true honor. He is always looking to create, collaborate, perform, & write with like minded artists.

JENNA RUBAII is originally from Clearwater, Florida, where started performing professionally at the age of six. Influenced at an early age by golden vocal legends: Celine Dion, Karen Carpenter and Dionne Warwick, it was through their artistry she found her musical heartbeat. Jenna is best known for her acclaimed performance as Mary Magdalene in the Olivier Award-winning 50th Anniversary Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. She was featured in the Original Broadway Cast of Groundhog Day (OBC Recording), and starred in the national and international tours of Green Day’s American Idiot and Saturday Night Fever as Stephanie Mangano. Jenna has performed at the Tony Awards, sung for two U.S. Presidents, and graced world-class stages from London’s Hammersmith Apollo to The Kennedy Center and Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. Based in NYC, she continues to showcase her range across a variety of musical genres - most recently starring in Avalona: A Musical Legend, an immersive rock musical from the creators of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and performing with the high-energy ‘80s tribute band Rubix Kube. She is thrilled to be at The Encore with Radio Recall and hopes you enjoy the show as much as we love performing it.
