Pittsburgh, Allegheny County is a city in Pennsylvania, the United States of America (USA). Pittsburgh has a population of 300,000 residents. It is the second most populated city in Pennsylvania after Philadelphia. The Pittsburgh metropolitan area a population of 2.4 million. The city is located at the Allegheny River and the Ohio River and is known as the 'City of Bridges' with almost 500 bridges. Some important sites in Pittsburgh are the Duquesne Incline, the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh, the PNC Park, the Carnegie Science Center and the Phipps Conservatory.
