2ND GRADE - ECLECTIC CURRICULUM PICKS

In discovering our homeschool style and observing what curricula we pick and the direction we move, I realize that we're very eclectic and that's most likely our style of education. I am not a big fan of labels, but apparently I need to pick a name to label and tag these videos here.

In this video, I talk briefly about the curricula we will be using for 2nd grade:

LA: AAR/AAS + MCT Poodle Series
Math: Math U See Beta + Beast Academy Online (supplemental)
Science: co-op + considering outsourcing
History: co-op + figuring out how to add History Quest Early Times in
Geography: Evan-Moor Sharpener Skills 2nd grade
Financial Literacy: Evan-Moor (starting from 1st grade book to close any gaps)
Critical Thinking Workbooks
LOTS of read aloud, Tuttle Twins for Social Studies, and Audiobooks
