Dame Dash's ongoing legal troubles have taken a new turn as his lawyers have withdrawn from his defense team amidst a lawsuit with film director Josh Webber. According to DJ Vlad, Dash's legal team filed papers with the U.S. District Court, citing his refusal to disclose assets as the reason for their departure. Dash has claimed that responding to the lawsuit is futile since he is in the process of filing for bankruptcy. The rapper and businessman faces a 30-day grace period to hire new lawyers while dealing with the financial implications of the lawsuit, which dates back to 2022. Dash was ordered to pay $805,000 for copyright infringement and defamation—a sum that has now skyrocketed to nearly $4 million.
