TEHRAN / Berlin Alley (کوچه برلن) (2021)

Berlin Alley is the name of an old alley in Tehran. This alley is located in the center of Tehran, south of Jomhuri Eslami Street, between Lalehzar South and Ferdowsi Streets, and has various shops for textiles, clothing, and evening dress, especially underwear and other goods. Many vendors in this alley sell their wares. From ancient times, Tehran Bazaar has been open in a multi-storey car park next to this alley.

The southern gate of the German embassy opens into this alley and is named after the capital of Germany, Berlin (pronounced in French). Nearby places include Pars Theater, Islamic Culture Publishing Office, Cinema Museum, Bank Melli Hospital, District 12 Municipality, Turkish Embassy and German Embassy.
