Hello Egilsstaðir & Seyðisfjörður.

Have you ever experienced a fog so thick that you can’t see more than 5 meters ahead of you?
That’s what the Eastern Iceland Fog can give you.

And today was a FOGGY day!

Started with excellent pieces of information about the Icelandair Hotel Hérað by the manager, Auður Anna Ingólfsdóttir. Auður, shared with us some juicy facts about herself, the Icelandair hotels, and their unique menu of Reindeers.

A short stop at Hús Handanna Art + Design with Lára Vilbergsdóttir, we said goodbye to Egilsstaðir.

We started our journey to the town Seyðisfjörður approximately 25 km from Egilsstaðir.

Seyðisfjörður has such exotic energy we loved to have the space to roll around town on our electric scooters.

We stopped at Rainbow Street and captured one of the handsome men’s in town, this one happened to be one of the owner and manager of Hótel Aldan and Restaurant, Davið Kristinsson.

Of course, we got him to try out the scooters before he gave us some interesting points about the town of Seyðisfjörður.

Later we visited the unique art piece in the mountains of Seyðisfjörður, called Tvítóna.

Finally, and perhaps the most crucial part of the day was when we found the manager at Herðubreið Community and Culture House, Sesselja Hlín Jónasardottir. We asked if she thought there were any eligible men in town for Rannveig.

And she sure had a piece of great advice for us… more later on that story!
