This special commercial traces the journey of Nikaido Shochu—its origins, evolution, and bold leap into the future.

The story begins in the mid-1970s, when the 6th-generation master, Akira Nikaido, pioneered a 100% barley shochu that sparked a nationwide appreciation for the spirit. Through the shochu boom of the 1980s and into the modern day, Nikaido has remained a symbol of authenticity and innovation.

Now, in 2025, the 8th-generation, Yuichi Nikaido, sets his sights on the world stage.

Fifty years since that first bold step, the journey of Nikaido Shochu enters a new era.

本映像は、二階堂の焼酎造りの原点と、未来への挑戦を描いたスペシャルCMです。

舞台は、1970年代半ば。6代目・二階堂暹(あきら)が“100%麦”の本格焼酎を初めて世に送り出し、日本中に焼酎文化が広がっていった時代。1980年代の焼酎ブームを経て、時代は移り変わり、物語は現代へ。

2025年、8代目・二階堂裕一が見据えるのは「世界」。
