Every Singaporean household can now claim S$300 worth of Community Development Council vouchers. The latest tranche is part of Government efforts to ease the pinch as the cost of living goes up and the GST hike sinks in. Half of the vouchers can be spent at participating supermarket chains. The other half is set aside for use at hawkers and heartland merchants.
