Sam prepares the camp and the dogs for a cold winter night. Fire wood must be brought inside, all the dogs must be feed, watered, and had time outside before coming in for the evening.

Living about 30% of his time at camp Sam is the only one who tends to the daily chores not only in the cold winters but also in the summers. There is always work that needs to be done when hunting conditions are not great. The hounds are number one priority and require much time and work.
