Synopsis:
The members of Valentinian’s crew have been divided across the centuries, in each case at a point in time shortly before a Centaur invasion takes place.
In the French Revolution, Luke, Cerah and Delilah attempt to locate each other while trying to avoid being denounced as enemies of the Republic. But even in this time period the human-like androids of the Centaurs have infiltrated society, and are indistinguishable from real people. And in an era without advanced technology, there seems to be little that they can do against the Centaurs or their androids.
Meanwhile, in London, 1920, several members of Valentinian’s crew are working with the Praesidium Order to travel eight years into the past with the tragic but necessary mission of sinking the Titanic.
But even with the assistance of unexpected allies, any attempt to defeat the Centaurs and their androids is futile, and there’s nowhere in the galaxy to run where they won’t be found, in any era.
