ProEXR 2.0 in Adobe After Effects CC 2019
In this tutorial 3D- & VFX Trainer Helge Maus gives you a brief introduction for working with Cryptomattes (https://github.com/Psyop/Cryptomatte) inside of Adobe After Effects CC 2019. With the help of the free Plugin ProEXR 2.0 (https://www.fnordware.com/ProEXR/) you can now pull mattes on the fly in compositing.
For After Effects CC 2020 you do NOT NEED to install the plugin anymore:
