LAVENDER GIN OLD FASHIONED COCKTAIL
➡️2.0 oz Gin
➡️1 barspoon Lavender Syrup (recipe below)
➡️2 dashes Lemon Bitters
➡️Garnish: Lemon peel
➡️Glass: Old Fashioned
➡️To Make: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir over ice until well-chilled (about 30 revolutions). Strain into an Old Fashioned or Rocks glass over a large cube, then garnish by expressing the oils of the lemon peel over the drink, rubbing the peel around the rim of the glass, and dropping into the drink.

Lavender Syrup
➡️¾ cup granulated sugar
➡️¾ cup water
➡️2 Tbsp. culinary-grade lavender (organic, if available
➡️To Make: Bring all ingredients to a low boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir frequently and let boil until sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain into a clean jar, cover and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
