this video will explain how to use a yaesu fusion radio ft5dr or similar with the w0chp hotspot and utilize the YSF to DMR Crossover function... this will allow a yaesu fusion radio to communicate with the hotspot and the hotspot to communicate with the DMR network... the magic is done within the hotspot to allow any radio to be used with it and then the hotspot can connect to the various network.. this is very useful if you have a yaesu FT5DR and want to use it on DMR... in the mean time.. one of the best and most cost effective DMR radios is presently the BaoFeng DM1701 and have it flashed with OpenGD77.. the baofeng is 60$ the yaesu is over 500$. my video shows you how to use your fusion radio with the hotspot in place of another purchase of another radio. Take my word for it.. buy a baofeng DM1701 for 60$ and you will be a very happy person with your dmr radio use...
