Princess Mononoke もののけ姫 Theme Song - Cover by Alev

I’ve been singing this one for a while for my son, who loves Studio Ghibli movie soundtracks by composer Joe Hisaishi (‪@joehisaishiofficial9777‬ ) Some time ago, I uploaded a rehearsal video of it on my Instagram but I knew I had to sing it properly and make a video to do it justice :)

I used some images from the original Mononoke movie concepts by Hayao Miyazaki and also some finished movie art from Studio Ghibli. Needless to say, I love the story, the main character, and especially the forest spirits, I truly connected with the message, as is the case with many of Miyazaki’s movies.
